From almighty God

Peach state hell
Where I don’t want to be
Demon-infested chamber of misery
Ages spent
Like aeons wasted
The torment, I have tried to face it

Up interstates and mountains too
Northeast bound I come for you
Now and then I go to see
Pleasant landscapes and family
I pray the lord will soon bring peace
To a lifestyle of misery
Take me far away from here
To be stuck here is what I fear

Carolina roads is what I pray to see
From my den of darkness I hope to one day flee
Dwelling here I carry the weight
Of past quarrels, lust and hate
There is nothing for me here
But ever darkening loneliness
Why do I have to stay
In a place so draining?

If I’m meant to remain here
Why is this place my cage of sin?
Demonic presence
Bullying me

I feel a calling
For something better
To improve this life
Release from earthly darkness

The sun may shine here
But it is not home
I feel incomplete
The demons here haunt me
